Fried Rice

Fried rice is one of the most popular staple foods in China. There are many cooking styles of frying this rice and that depends of the geographic region.  Since China is a large country, there are many way of cooking this dish.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil for stir-frying
  • 4 cups of cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
  • 1 - 2 onions, as desire
Fried Rice
Beat eggs with salt and pepper; do not forget to wash the onions. Heat the wok or frying pan with enough oil, once the oil is hot, cook eggs. Finally Remove them and clean the wok.

Add oil again in the wok, then add rice and stir-fry it for a few minutes. It is better if you use a wooden spoon to break it apart, add and stir the soy sauce to taste.

Finally, when the rice is hot add the scramble egg and mix them together, add green onions and serve hot.
