Definition: Chinese pronouns have the same use that pronoun in other languages; but Chinese pronouns have some differences like in pronunciation: the third person can't differentiate in gender; it cans differentiate only when someone writes it. There is also different kind of pronouns in Chinese language.

Personal Pronouns
These pronouns are used for replacing the nouns and subjects in many sentences. You must learn this because Chinese people use it a lot.

Possessive Pronouns
This kind of pronouns has the same function in Chinese and English language.
These pronouns are easy to make, you have to add 的 ("de"). There are some exceptions that are in literature.

Reflexive Pronouns
These pronouns have the same use as English reflexive pronouns. You can make these pronouns by appending 自己 ("zìjǐ") to the pronouns. These pronouns are only for humans.
